It's one thing to observe that the app-makers are running out of ideas, as Rebecca Greenfield did on Wednesday, but it's a whole new level of mean to compare all of online to a Dilbert cartoon. That's what one commenter on Greenfield's post did, and to be honest, it had us laughing (unlike any actual Dilbert cartoon). Kdez writes of an increasingly uninspired internet:
Yep. It's like Dilbert cartoons - more a documentary record of office life than a comic.
App makers make joke apps and get taken seriously, with funding. Scott Adams writes a comic that nobody laughs at. Is nothing funny anymore?
