Ray Bradbury Endorsing Prunes; Men Doing Chores

We realize there's only so much time one can spend in a day watching new trailers, viral video clips, and shaky cell phone footage of people arguing on live television. This is why every day The Atlantic Wire highlights the videos that truly earn your five minutes (or less) of attention. Today:

Okay, we'll be the first to admit that this is the first clip of Canada's Sportscentre show we've ever seen. What can we say? We're not that into sports and we're not Canadian. But you know what, we're into DAAAAHNSE:

There aren't enough commercials of men doing chores. It's sort of unfair that women and Kelly Ripa have always have to show off the latest in laundry and cleaning supplies. So we don't feel the least bit bad watching nearly two minutes of the Pine-Sol lady scaring the crap out of these grown men (sweater-vested man at around 50 seconds in might be our favorite).

So we mentioned yesterday how we aren't really big fans of vertical videos. Clearly, whoever filmed this didn't pay attention to yesterday's PSA. That said, we are just slaves to the palpable comic book nerdiness and heart-warming factor of this proposal video. Yes it taught us to believe in love again, but more importantly taught us that we can love a video that's shot in the worst way possible:

So you might have heard that the Sci-Fi god Ray Bradbury died today. And today's video roundup  just wouldn't feel right without an nod to Farenheight 451 author. This video comes from way back in the day when the prune industry had money to put commercials out there (60s?) and get Ray Bradbury to do them.  It's the perfect blend of the funny, head-scratching strangeness that we've come to expect from Bradbury:
