We realize there's only so much time one can spend in a day watching new trailers, viral video clips, and shaky cell phone footage of people arguing on live television. This is why every day The Atlantic Wire highlights the videos that truly earn your five minutes (or less) of attention. Today:
In all the Chick-fil-A hubbub where has been that other purveyor of American chicken, KFC? The Colonel (played by John Goodman) speaks out in this Funny or Die parody, and guess what? He loves gay people. Or he just wants to sell some chicken. We're not sure.
Coming to us via the New York Times' Olympics Twitter feed we have a spontaneous, multi-person, burst of joy. After the opening ceremony people in the Liverpool Street station in London broke out into a rendition of "Hey Jude." Paul is proud.
And while we're talking about Olympics, an oldie but goodies that got a mention on Reddit. Let's just say he's not Gabby Douglas on bars.
At last, we finally get the (sort of) truth behind Anne Geddes, the famed baby photographer. (She totally hates babies.)
