Around 100,000 people are being evacuated from the Lollapalooza festival grounds in Chicago right now because of a severe thunderstorm warning, potentially cancelling performances from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Frank Ocean. The storms are expected to have heavy rain, lightning, winds are expected to get up to 70 miles per hour, and there's a possibility of quarter-sized hail. Those aren't exactly the ideal conditions for chillin' with your bros and listening to some Chilli Peppers, or blacking out on something to the untz-untz-woop-woop house beats of Avicii. Organizers have three pre-established underground shelters set up for evacuation purposes, so people are being stored there. We're sure it smells great in there. The thunderstorm warning is expected to be over around 8 p.m., at which time the organizers will have to survey the damage and decide whether or not they're going to cancel Saturday night's headliners. There's potential for another dangerous stage collapse with the weather conditions, so here's hoping everything's still standing and no one gets hurt when the weather subsides.
