Here Comes Honey Boo Boo — the TLC reality show about pageant child Alana and her proud redneck family — has become a viral sensation and gained ratings success, but how much is the family actually getting? According to The Hollywood Reporter's Leslie Bruce the family of six is getting just between $2,000 and $4,000 per episode. That means they'd make at maximum $40,000 for the entire season. As a comparison TMZ reported in April that the Kardashian family signed a $40 million-plus deal for three more seasons of their show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Last Wednesday Honey Boo Boo scored a 1.3 rating among adults 18 to 49. Sunday's showing of Keeping Up with the Kardashians scored a 1.2, according to TV by the Numbers. You put it that way and it just doesn't seem fair.
