Jon Stewart doesn't normally work on Fridays, but the Republican Convention is a special circumstance, and thanks to Clint Eastwood's special conversation "with the President" he doesn't regret working the overtime.
"Amidst the tired rhetoric, empty platitudes and overwrought attacks, a fistful of awesome emerged in the night, where it spent 12 minutes on the most important night of Mitt Romney’s life yelling at a chair," Stewart says before looking to the sky and thanking Jesus for the early Christmas gift.
The speech brought Stewart "the most joy I’ve gotten from an old man since Dick Cheney non-fatally shot one in the face." Watch him appreciate Eastwood's performance art here:
