Before you buy tickets to Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z's "Legends of the Summer" tour, you should know that many of their concerts definitely won't be featuring a surprise appearance from Mrs. Carter. Sure, the dapper singer and mogul rapper are enough of a draw on their own, but admit it — you'd leave the concert vaguely dissatisfied if Beyoncé didn't give her husband an assist at some point during the show. As you should, because we all know that this ...
... would be immeasurably improved with a dash of this:
Well, we've got some bad news for Beyoncé fans considering seeing Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z perform in Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Hershey, Pennsylvania. JT and Jay-Z's tour dates came out today, meaning that we can now compare their schedule with Beyonce's slate of summer tour dates. By lining up their respective appointments, we can reasonably conclude that (barring the possibility that Beyoncé has become so superior to average humans that she can literally teleport herself across the country) she won't be appearing at the stadiums with dates marked in black below, as illustrated by Google Maps. As for the dates marked in red, the possibility of a surprise Beyoncé cameo remains within the realm of the possible.
July 17 — Toronto, Rogers Centre
Where Beyoncé will be: 520 miles away, performing at the United Center in Chicago.
July 19 — New York, Yankee Stadium
Where Beyoncé will be: Between stops in St. Paul, Minnesota (July 18) and Detroit (July 20). It's a bit of a long haul between the midwest and New York, but Beyoncé could potentially use her day off from touring to make a quick appearance in New York.
July 22 — Chicago, Soldier Field
Where Beyoncé will be: 847 miles away, performing at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
July 26 — San Francisco, Candlestick Park
Where Beyoncé will be: 2,940 miles away, performing at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
July 28 - Los Angeles, CA - Rose Bowl
Where Beyoncé will be: Between stops in Charlotte, North Carolina (July 27) and Washington, D.C. (July 29). It's a stretch to assume that Beyoncé would fly all the way in from the East Coast for this date, but she's been known to accomplish more superhuman feats.
July 31 — Vancouver, BC Place Stadium
Where Beyoncé will be: 2,987 miles away, performing at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
August 4 —Hershey, Pennsylvania, Hershey Stadium
Where Beyoncé will be: 164 miles away, performing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Beyoncé's tour ends on August 4 and her website lists no other commitments following that. So if she's still up for performing after almost four months of nearly constant touring, she could feasibly make any of the dates below.
August 6 — Detroit, Ford Field
August 8 — Baltimore, M&T Bank Stadium
August 10 — Boston, Fenway Park
August 13 — Philadelphia, Citizens Bank Park
August 16 — Miami, Sun Life Stadium
