Orly Taitz Begs UN for 'Protection'

Heather Horn Feb 23, 2010
Renowned "birther" and dentist Orly Taitz is appealing to the UN for "protection from persecution in the United States." Taitz claims she is being persecuted for insisting that President Obama is not an American citizen and is "the most dangerous thing one can imagine, in that he represents radical communism and radical Islam." Bloggers find this odd to mildly amusing, but here's how Taitz's lawyer Dr. Jonathan Levy describes the case in a press release:
Dr. Taitz, a well known Constitutional attorney, has been under increasing attack in the United States from groups and individuals opposed to her legal  actions challenging the Constitutional qualifications of Barrack Hussein Obama to hold the office of President of the United States.

The California attorney has been the victim of death threats, vandalism, false complaints, and a suspected assassination attempt.  Her reports to law enforcement and the judiciary have been ignored.
Is the UN going to be Taitz's unlikely ally?
