Stephen Colbert Gets Harsh With Wikileaks Head

When Wikileaks released a highly controversial video showing U.S. troops firing on Reuters journalists in Iraq, both the Wikileaks organization and chief Julian Assange entered the spotlight. Assange may have anticipated a favorable interview when he appeared on the Colbert Report on Monday evening. But Stephen Colbert, after a few jokes, turned antagonistic. He accused Assange of "pure editorial" and of manipulating viewers to give a one-sided view of the incident. Colbert is an ally of the military, having visited U.S. troops in Iraq in 2009.
