As Wire readers know, the consequences of Australia's rising floodwaters are vast. Thousands have been made homeless, the death toll is still uncertain, the Great Barrier Reef could be harmed and even mosquito-born illnesses pose a threat. In a chilling homemade video, a pair of Australians document a gushing torrent of water sweeping away a row of automobiles (The Washington Post has more here):
