Further Grumblings from the Desk of Donald Rumsfeld

Another management koan from Donald Rumsfeld's tenure as secretary of defense caught our attention today. Ahead of the release of his book Known and Unkown, Rumsfeld has been releasing scores of unclassified documents depicting his day-to-day decision making. Here's a another moment, from December 13, 2001, in which he set out to solve global problems by the COB (hat tip: Joshua Foust):



We're not exactly sure what Rumsfeld's payment would be in exchange for (pehaps the cable he references will eventually show up on Wikileaks), but it probably had something to do with assistance in the War on Terror. Still, he gets an A for enthusiasm.
