--Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, quoted by the BBC, reacting on his blog to LiveJournal's crash due to a denial-of-service cyber-attack. Americans may recall as something of a "'teen angst' site" from a few years back. Following its purchase by the Russian company Sup Media, though, over 50 percent of LiveJournal users now hail from Russia or the Commonwealth of Independent States, according to the Financial Times.
