Inside the Stylish Prison Where Norway's Shooter Could Be Headed

On Monday, we looked at how anti-Islam extremist Anders Behring Breivik's killing spree last week had shed light on Norway's prison system, which focuses on rehabilitating inmates and reintegrating them into society. At the center of that effort is the Halden Fengsel maximum-security prison outside of Oslo, where Breivik could be sent if convicted. Today, Reuters has published photos from 2010 taken inside the institution that has been dubbed the "world's most humane prison." 

We get a peek at one of the institution's sparkling cells, equipped with a flatscreen TV, single bed, desk, and private bathroom:

The hallway looks more prison-like, though it's still spic and span:

We also get a look at the chapel:

And the grounds, which include a Banksy-esque graffiti image of a prisoner:
