The Ottawa Bluesfest was finishing up Sunday night when a windstorm caused the main stage to collapse in the middle of a performance by the band Cheap Trick. Only one man was seriously injured when "a piece of the stage pierced his abdomen," reports The Globe and Mail. Two others were also taken to the hospital. No one was trapped underneath the stage, thankfully, and the band is also fine. The Associated Press has video of rescue crews working around the wreckage to make sure everyone is okay, which is also posted below. The storm came up rapidly, when "cold air suddenly replaced the hot, muggy weather. Around 7:30 p.m., black clouds, lightning and driving rain followed, and a wind so strong that it folded the stage up in a manner of seconds."
