The lawyers for Dominique Strauss-Kahn made their first television appearance Tuesday evening on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight. Benjamin Brafman and Bill Taylor spoke with Morgan about all of the aspects of the Strauss-Kahn trial, from DSK's relationship with his wife to the coverage of the case as interpreted by the New York tabloid covers. The charges against Strauss-Kahn were dropped Tuesday afternoon. "Unless you yourself have been accused falsely of a serious crime you did not commit, I think it's impossible to really understand the full measure of relief Dominique Strauss-Kahn and Anne Sinclair felt today," Brafman told Piers Morgan. "There was never any acrimony that I witnessed between them," Brafman said of the relationship between Strauss-Kahn and his wife.

When asked about the Daily News's "Le Perv" cover, Brafman said DSK "laughed off" the tabloid covers that were released over the course of the trial. Brafman said he was more offended by than Strauss-Kahn was. Brafman said Diallo gave, "something like an academy award performance," in her appearance on ABC, and called her an "accomplished actress." On Tristane Banon's lawsuit against Strauss-Kahn in Frnace, Bill Taylor said he was in close contact with DSK's French lawyers and that the case was, "no more worthy of credit," then Diallo's case, and they expect that case to be handled in a similar manor in French courts. In other words, they expect them to be dropped too. Brafman said Strauss-Kahn, "regrets this incident with all of his heart." The layers said the financial cost of the whole ordeal was "enormous" for DSK, but didn't to give an exact figure. When asked about Nafissatou Diallo, Brafman called her, "evil, or pathetic, or both." Morgan asked Taylor what he learned from the case. His response? "If you have a big problem in New York City, you should call Ben Brafman."

Part of the appearance can be seen in the video below.
