The man who tossed a shaving cream pie in Rupert Murdoch's face at a phone-hacking Parliament hearing has now been sentenced to six weeks in prison for the offense, reported the Associated Press. The judge at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court, Daphne Wickham, said at the sentencing "You attended those proceedings with only one intention, to disrupt them," according to The Guardian. Update: The Guardian and AP both note that Marbles is expected to only serve three weeks of that time.

Jonnie Marbles, as his stage name goes, had pleaded guilty to the stunt days ago and left the courtroom giving reporters one more zinger to jot down: "I would just like to say this has been the most humble day of my life," a reference to Murdoch's refrain during the hearing. His real name is Jonathan May-Bowles, and he's part time comedian who specializes in--according to his Twitter profile--"all-around nonsense."
