Qaddafi's the kind of paradox the Internet loves: A brutal dictator and an eccentrict family man with a penchant for flamboyant clothing. Since his passing, various videos and photos have gone around chronicling his finals moments, but among the blood, blogs have resurfaced some of his kinder (and weirder) moments.

While he may have treated his people brutally, Qaddafi did in fact have a heart. Foreign Policy reminds us that he was a family man as the brutal dictator sits with grandchildren and relatives, in this Instagram-esque photo gallery, which contains photos taken from the dictators compound. Boing Boing also gives us a glimpse into Qaddafi's family life, re-posting this humanizing video of Qaddafi entertaining his granddaughter.

This wasn't the only time Qaddafi was caught on tape doing some adorable family bonding, beyond the family photos this  home video, which we posted back in September, was also discovered.

We also just found this pretty cute photo on Reuters.

But Qaddafi not only had a soft spot for his family, The Daily Beast reminds us he had a bit of a crush on Condoleeza Rice, excerpting her book No Higher Honor: A Memoir of My Years in Washington, with this bit about Rice's relationship with Qaddafi.

Qaddafi told me that he’d made a videotape for me. Uh oh, I thought, what is this going to be? It was a quite innocent collection of photos of me with world leaders—President Bush, Vladimir Putin, Hu Jintao, and so on—set to the music of a song called “Black Flower in the White House,” written for me by a Libyan composer. It was weird, but at least it wasn’t raunchy.
