While the rest of the world is still grasping at the tiny bits of information about Kim Jong-un, the state-run North Korean News has started producing legends of its new "divine" leader. From adding funky numerology to Jong-un's birthday down to his bloodline, North Korean journalists and editors are hard at work making Jong-un larger than life. "The mythmaking for Kim Jong-un has begun as well, with an editorial in the Rodong Sinmun newspaper calling him 'born of heaven.' However, details of his birth, and the accompanying legend, have not yet been revealed," reports the AP which adds that observers believe that they will manipulate Jong-un's birthday and add a couple of years to his age so that he'd "be" 30 this year--the same year his father turned 70 and grandfather turned 100. It all makes total sense if he's going to live up to his father, Kim Jong-Il who was "heaven sent,"  born when his own father was fighting the Japanese, and went on to, according to a CNBC report, bowl a perfect 300 in his first time bowling, shoot five "holes in one and scored 38 under par in his maiden round of golf", and whose death was accompanied with this mythical setting: "The skies glowed red above sacred Mount Paektu and the impenetrable sheet of ice at the heart of the mystical volcano cracked with a deafening roar." In a more tempered reality, the AP reports that Jong-Il had a Siberian birth record and there are reports today that question the basic, less legendary facts about his death.
