Since we really still don't know much about North Korea, The Telegraph has culled together a fascinating collection of satellite photos offering a bird's-eye glimpse into the strange ways of the secretive state. The images alternate between the opulent and the oppressive -- opulent for Dear Leader and his family, oppressive for everyone else.  Above for example is one of the Kim family's large estates, this one humbly called the "Central Luxury House." The rest are more depressing: the failed ostrich farm (ostrich meant to feed a starving nation) and chewing gum factory (gum meant to give North Koreans good dental hygiene) are both testaments to the bizarre way Kim Jong-il has led his country.
