There are some great photos coming out of Egypt Wednesday, where citizens marked the one year anniversary of the uprising against President Hosni Mubarak in a gathering of thousands in Tahrir Square. They were also there to advocate more political reform. Our favorite photo of the day depicts protesters setting up an obelisk with the names of those killed in the revolution. It's like the famed Iwo Jima shot on a way more massive scale.

And to give a sense of the gathering's scope, here's a shot of protesters kneeling down to pray.
