On Friday we reported that there's no reason to be afraid of the supermoon. It wouldn't make you crazy. It wasn't going to sink any ships. It wasn't going to signal the end of the world. If any of those things happened to you last night, don't blame it on the supermoon.

The worst thing the supermoon likely did to you was flood your Instagram feed. The lead image up top is the supermoon shining down on Waikiki beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. These pictures, taken by professionals, are pretty cool shots of the supermoon from around the world.

These sailors didn't have any trouble with the supermoon. It looks more like the sun in this shot taken onboard the Emirates Team New Zealand boat during leg 6 of the Volvo Ocean Race, which goes from Italj, Brazil to Miami, Florida. (Volvo/AP)
