Fugitive penguins. Monkeys on a plane. Presidential pot smoking. Just in case you don't have enough surreal news to think about today, try this little gem: Silvio Berlusconi enjoyed a sexy "Burlesque version of President Barack Obama." Let that sink in for a second.

According to Reuters, one of the girls at Silvio Berlusconi's infamous "bunga bunga" parties told an Italian court she dressed up the U.S. president to entertain the former Italian prime minister. The dancer, Marysthell Polanco, also dressed up as prosecutor Ilda Boccassini, "with a toga to make him laugh."Fun! 

Berlusconi, of course, is on trial for allegedly having sex with an underage prostitute, and the hearing is basically a chance for the Italian public to learn every embarrassing thing he did behind closed doors while he ran the country.

"Polanco, a striking 28-year-old from the Dominican Republic, said the parties were innocent fun accompanied by burlesque, but not pornographic, entertainment," Reuters' Manuela D'Alessandro reports. Regrettably there's no photo of the Obama costume or even a more specific description other than the fact that it exists. But when you're thinking about how it might work, remember not everyone describes these parties as the "elegant dinners" Berlusconi said they were. D'Alessandro reminds us: "Previous witnesses who attended his parties painted a more sordid picture, including nudity, mimicked sex, and one described two women wearing nasty versions of nuns' habits performing a raunchy pole dance." You stay classy, Berlusconi.

Mark our words: Burlesque Obama will be next year's hot Halloween costume.
