United Nations Compiles Syrian War Criminal List It Can't Enforce
The website Humanrights.gov published this before-and-after photo of what they believe is a mass grave dug after last week's massacre in Houla, Syria. According to Reuters, the website is run by the bureau of the U.S. State Department. There are other photos on the site showing attack helicopters and artillery stations outside of Homs, and other Syrian cities. The images were taken using commercial satellites. Some of the pictures are grainy and in black and white, so it can be difficult to make out what exactly you're supposed to be looking at, but it's still interesting that these images, if they're true, are being released by a website run by a department of the U.S. government.
