Danny Boyle's China-Topping Olympic Opener Includes 70 Sheep
So much for Save the Surprise: Now that they're letting people into Olympic Stadium, the first photos of the set for Danny Boyle's £27 million opening ceremony are starting to trickle out and it looks... Well, it looks like a meadow. But we've only seen it in model form before, so you know, it's pretty cool. Things don't get underway until 9 p.m. local time, but you can see the stands are already starting to fill up with people, just as the air fills with fake clouds and the stadium with fake meadow. Enjoy the first few snaps:
