In an effort to solve the mystery once and for all, Palestinian officials have agreed to exhume Yasser Arafat's body to see if they can determine whether or not he was poisoned. Suspicions over Arafat's mysterious 2004 death were brought up again on Tuesday when al Jazeera debuted their investigation that concluded Arafat might have died from polonium poisoning. Other senior Palestinian officials are calling for "an international investigation committee through the (UN) Security Council or the International Court of Justice to deal with the matter as a whole," the BBC reports. Reuters spoke with Saeb Erekat, a senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, who said Arafat's body would be exhumed as soon as "religious and family procedures" were complete, which he didn't expect to take more than a few days.
