After a five-month tour of duty, Prince Harry is heading home from combat — with a little bragging on his way out of Afghanistan. Here's the official scoop:

And what, exactly, did Harry's "tour of duty" include? Well, now that he's out of harm's way, Harry is talking about what he did. "If there's people trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we'll take them out of the game, I suppose ... Take a life to save a life … the squadron's been out here. Everyone's fired a certain amount," he's quoted as saying in The Guardian, and more specifically from Sky News:

The prince's job meant he was in the front seat of the attack helicopter, controlling an array of weapons including a 30mm cannon and hellfire missiles.

When asked if he had killed from the cockpit the 28-year-old replied: "Yeah, so lots of people have."

You hear that, William?

And for the record, Harry's sorry about Vegas.
