Morning Vid: Tancredo Compares Obama to Al Qaeda

Erik Hayden Jul 24, 2010

Former Congressman Tom Tancredo, who recently saw his political stock rise due to Colorado Republican Tom McInnis's misfortunes, may stand as a third party candidate for Colorado governor. It remains to be seen if going on Fox News with Megyn Kelly and calling for President Obama's impeachment will do him any favors. It started with Tancredo's op-ed in The Washington Times, in which he called the president "a more serious threat to America than al Qaeda." Kelly, at least, wasn't impressed, calling his suggestion "ridiculous" and telling Tancredo that it's "hard to take [him] seriously." Tancredo defends his controversial statements, but Kelly is having none of it.
