Morning Vid: Colbert Says Fox News 'Can't Tell Black People Apart'

Erik Hayden 30 Views Aug 6, 2010

When it comes to the topic of Colbert Report's "favorite" news organization, its faux-conservative host rarely pulls his punches. Last night, Steven Colbert riffed on Fox News' relentless promotion of its dominant ratings and harped on the fact that apparently only one percent of the audience is African-American before turning to investigate the latest gaffe made by Greta Van Susteren's production team. Apparently they managed to mix up footage of Maxine Waters and Shirley Sherrod during a discussion of Water's ethics charges.

"It could happen to anyone," Colbert quipped. "Whose producers can't tell black people apart." Too harsh?
