RedState's Caleb Howe agrees--so strongly, in fact, that he quickly slaps together a parody: the "top 5 discarded Kos book covers you never saw," in which he takes this war of demonized smiley-face covers to its natural conclusion.
One cover shows Goldberg's book with "liberal" crossed out and "conservative" written in, another shows Goldberg's book with a line through it and the title reading "Nuh-Uh: Our Polling Says YOU'RE WRONG JONAH!" while a third features the title "Screw Them! Dealing with Republicans and the Right in America" and lists, in place of "Founder of Daily Kos" under Moulitsas's name, simply "I Feel Nothing for Them," with a helpful illustration. Finally, to top it off, Howe offers a colorful counter-rip-off to Moulitsas's book:
