iPad Proves You Don't Read Playboy for the Articles

Elspeth Reeve 612 Views Jan 19, 2011
The anti-porn Steve Jobs doesn't want dirty pictures besmirching his beautiful iPad. But Jobs didn't turn Apple into potentially the first trillion-dollar company by ignoring the wisdom of the glorious free market. After trying out a lightly censored version of Playboy for a few months, Apple will allow the magazine's entire fully-nude catalog to be available in March. Supply and demand, son!

"It seems, wait for it, people aren't just reading Playboy for the articles," New York's Chris Rovzar writes of the move. The news means that either Playboy will be available on the new iPad subscription service or "that Playboy will make it easier to download the catalog from the Internet to your iPad, thus allowing Steve Jobs to still maintain his porn-free streak when it comes to apps."
