A package "with the appearance of an improvised explosive device" has been found outside Washington, DC in Prince George's County, Maryland, TBD reports. A road crew found the package Tuesday morning; emergency responders have shut down the road, Branch Avenue between Woodyard and Kirby roads, while they investigate.
Update: The county police bomb squad is examining the device, a "phone attached with wires to package." The highway is close to Andrews Air Force Base.
