Considering the heavy media saturation in the lead-up to Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding, you'd think that there would be more Americans who'd be paying attention. Apparently not.
A New York Times/CBS poll has finally quantified wedding fatigue and found that only 6 percent of Americans follow news about the wedding "very closely." Only 22 percent are following "somewhat closely." And, again, this is in a media environment in which it's nearly impossible to go a day without reading some pretty highly-specific ways of covering the wedding.
