Multiple news outlets are reporting that a six-year old Houston kindergartner brought a gun to school and dropped it. Apparently, the gun fell out of the child's backpack and discharged, wounding three other children from fragments.

According to a local news station, the child also could have been showing the gun to friends in the cafeteria of Betsy Ross elementary school and it accidentally went off. Three children have been hospitalized and school officials have said the injuries were not life-threatening, reports a Fox affiliate. The police have blocked off the street and has the school on lock down.
