Nope, it's not an April Fools' Day trick. This is Chris Hitchens, renowned atheist, over at Vanity Fair defending the King James Bible. It actually makes a lot of sense when you consider Hitchens's aggressive attitude towards cultural preservation. He has ever had a near-religious attachment (backed up with forceful argument) to certain elements of our human heritage.

Nevertheless, for those who know Hitchens only from headlines (say, when he celebrated the death of Reverend Jerry Falwell), this will come as a surprise.
