Missouri landscape photographer Aaron Fuhrman has created one of the best illustrations of the devastation in Joplin by juxtaposing one of the photos he took of the storm's aftermath with the Google's Street View of the same place. He writes on his Flickr page: "Same location and yet it seems so very different." Set side by side by, via The Daily What's Tumblr, it is even more disturbing to think of the man, surveying unending destruction where once stood a smoothly paved road lined with typical suburban homes, manicured lawns, luscious trees and power lines.
