Thirty years ago this father-son duo Chris and Kenneth Bray attended the first ever space shuttle launch. They never went to another launch again, until last week's final voyage, where they recreated the photo, of themselves as they looked at the spectacle for the Young Me/Now Me meme.

Chris, on his Flickr page, calls it "the photo we waited 30 years to complete." The Young Me/Now Me photos provide a sweet combination of nostalgia combined with the salty acceptance of time passed, but this photo in particular, as it bookends the space shuttle program, nicely documents the beginnings and endings of an era.
