The 1 Train Hackers Stole $2.4 Million from 2,904 ATMs in Just 10 Hours
A standoff between police and a gunman at the Flatiron Building in Manhattan has been resolved, apparently without incident.
According to WNYC, police arrived on the scene around 1 p.m. "after contractors working on windows at the location called police because they were being 'menaced' by a tenant who may have a gun." On Twitter, there were multiple reports of road closures in the surrounding area
Just past 4 p.m. NBC News New York tweeted that an individual was being led away from the building in handcuffs. According to the New York Daily News Twitter feed, the still-unidentified suspect is "in his 70s [and] lived in the area for decades" and was being taken to Bellevue.
It should be noted that, when the story was first developing, this was how the New York Post responded on Twitter. We'll update you as more information emerges.
