Governors are declaring states of emergency left and right along the East Coast due to the imminent arrival of Hurricane Irene. The storm is expected to produce waves of water 10 to 15 feet high and could very well be the biggest storm to hit the East Coast so far this century. (We're not that far into the 21st-century.) Evacuations have been ordered along the coast, and authorities warn of severe flooding. The latest list and links to instructions from the governors on what to do:
