The names of the sailors who lost their lives in the deadly helicopter crash in Afganistan were revealed Thursday morning. Of the 30 men who died on Sunday, 15 were members of SEAL Team 6, two SEALs in a different squad, five Navy sailors, three members of the Air Force, and five Army helicopter crew members. The New York Times has taken each name and made a collage of the faces of all thirty men who died that day. Each sailor gets his own picture, and a little bio. The bios tend to vary, likely because some jobs are classified: some bios have a lot of information about the man in front of the camera, others barely have their hometown. The photos are an emotional look at the men who died in the single largest loss of life in a single day since the war started.
