White House Crasher Tareq Salahi Says His Wife Was Kidnapped
Tareq Salahi has filed for divorce from his wife and fellow White House gatecrasher Michaele Salahi after she took off with the guitarist from Journey, Neal Schon, the Associated Press reports. In the documents Tareq filed in a Virginia court Friday, he accused his wife of having an affair and flaunting it for all the world to see. Court documents indicate the couple had a prenup, the Associated Press says.
Tareq reportedly sees no hope for making amends. This seems unlikely. The Salahis have been desperate to extend their fame since the cancellation of Real Housewives of D.C., and it seems clear they're looking to fellow reality TV monster couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt for inspiration. Judging by the Speidi timeline, Tareq's got about five months to book the location where they'll renew their vows.
