Why Michelle Obama's Twitter Account Will Be Less Political Than the First One
First Lady Michelle Obama will be an author come April. But that didn't stop her publisher from releasing cover art for the new book, American Grown: How the White House Kitchen Garden Inspires Families, Schools and Communities, today. The book, which sounds like what sounds to be an extension of her health-oriented Let's Move! campaign, will hit whatever's left of bookstore shelves and will be available for digital download on April 10 according to Crown. "The book will speak to these issues which Mrs. Obama has strongly advocated for and will also include practical ideas, recipes, resources and tips on how to begin a garden of any size, anywhere," writes Crown. "Mrs. Obama accepted no advance for the book and will donate all net or after-tax author proceeds to a charity or charities to be named later. Random House, Inc. will also make a donation to an appropriate charity to be named later."
