Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is making the talk show rounds this week, to promote the realease of her new memoir, No Higher Honor. The book, which came out Tuesday, is filled with anecdotes from her time in the Bush White House.

She told one particularly, uh ... "amusing" story on ABC's "Nightline" about the time that senior White House staff — including President Bush — thought they'd been the victims of botulism poisoning. Shortly after September 11, 2001, then Vice-President Dick Cheney called them in China to say that White House detectors had picked up the toxin and if lab tests came out positive, everyone who was exposed was going to die.

Watch Rice tell her story to George Stephanopoulos.
