The FCC's emergency test this afternoon, which was supposed to take over all TVs and radios across America, didn't go as planned. 2:00 p.m. came and went and not everyone watching saw the message pictured above. Business Insider's Zeke Miller started a liveblog of the event at 2:03 of the event but called it off at 2:07, noting that he had yet to see the test and turned to FEMA for an explanation. Miller wasn't the only one who missed out. The New York Times' Brian Stelter also reports that viewers and listeners in many states did not hear the test and some even had some strange things happen to their TVs. Like, a Lady Gaga TV takeover. Neither Stelter nor Miller have gotten explanations for the hiccups. One person who did catch it was WWD's John Koblin, who, taking a sick day at home, snapped the above pic. At least it was just a test.
