The New York Times has the lowdown on the latest in over-the-top, "I'm richer than you" real estate amenity — the ability park to your car on the same floor as your penthouse apartment. A new condo building in Manhattan comes with special "sky garages" that are directly attached to each unit and have views to rival almost any in the city. (In case your Ranger Rover is easily bored, we suppose.) Vehicles are delivered to and from the street by a special elevator so that they can be parked right outside the kitchen door, and don't require a valet or doorman. Oh, and if the 300-square foot garage space was its own stand-alone apartment, it would be worth at least $800,000 on the open market. That kind of makes the rest of the $7 million home seem excessive, doesn't it?
