Randy Babbitt Resigns as Head of the FAA Following Drunk Driving Arrest

Following his arrest for driving drunk on the wrong side of a Virginia highway last weekend and a one-day-long leave of absence, Federal Aviation Administration chief  Jerome Randolph "Randy" Babbitt has stepped down.

No word yet on whether or not administrator Michael Huerta, who'd taken over during Babbitt's one-day "leave" will now become FAA chief.
