Kodak, the iconic American photography company that's struggled to make the transition into the digital era, is reportedly preparing Chapter 11 bankruptcy paperwork. Breaking the news in a tweet, The Wall Street Journal reports the company's last hope lies in "efforts to sell a trove of digital patents." If that plan fails, bankruptcy it is. Nevertheless, the news doesn't come as a huge surprise, as there were reports that the company was weighing the possibility of bankruptcy as early as last September. Nevertheless, now's a good time break out the old Brownie and remember a bygone age.
