A series of arson attacks in Queens on Sunday night used Molotov cocktails made from Starbucks bottles to target Muslims, police said. Of the four attacks, the first happened at a bodega, the second a private home that actually caught fire, the third at an Islamic center, and the fourth at a private house that the Associated Press reported was used for Hindu worship. The attacks on the bodega and the Islamic center caused some charring, and the bottles thrown at the fourth house didn't break and just fizzled out, The New York Times reported, but the second house blazed and 60 firefighters fought the flames for 40 minutes before bringing them under control. Starbucks sells some of its pre-made Frappuccino drinks in glass bottles. The reports didn't say what size the bottles used in the attacks were.
