The Dow Finally Makes It Back to Pre-Recession Levels

Some more sunny economic news today: The Dow shot way up today, buoyed by good jobs numbers released Friday morning, closing at a high it hasn't seen since May 2008. The DJIA gained 154 points or 1.2 percent. The NASDAQ also reached an eleven year high. People are quick to note that the landmark of the Dow reaching pre-recession levels could be good news for President Obama's reelection effort. But then, given the fickleness of markets these days, who knows what next week may bring
