The Groundhog Report: A Split Decision

Punxsutawney Phil "saw his shadow" this morning, proclaiming six more weeks of winter, but animal meteorologist watchers in New York City received a dissenting view from Phil's rival, Staten Island Chuck.

Moments ago, both groundhogs — one in Pennsylvania, the other at the Staten Island Zoo — were woken up early by their handlers to decide if winter will continue or end soon. Phil's handlers (who claim that only their president can understand the groundhog language), proclaimed that he saw his shadow and is predicting more punishing winter. Chuck disagrees, according the New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and predicts an early spring. Who will be right? We know which side we're on.
