A Pekingese named Malachy took home "Best in Show" at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show last night, the fourth of his breed to win the ultimate prize in high stakes dog breeding. Malachy, who is small enough to fit comfortably in his new trophy, was beaten in the final round at Westminster last year after winning the "toy dog" group, but came back  in 2012 to knock off an Irish setter, a Kerry blue terrier, a Doberman, a Dalmatian, a German shepherd, and a wire-haired dachshund to claim the overall crown. The judge of the final group, Cindy Vogels, said “His demeanor was spotless. He was flawless.” The four-year-old dog has 115 "best in show" awards in his career, but will now be retired from competition to live with his co-owner and handler.
